What type of MCTs are in withinUs TruOrganic MCT™?
Our TruOrganic MCT™ contains C8 (caprylic acid) and C10 (capric acid). These specific MCTs produce increased ketones in the body which results in more readily available energy. The shorter the carbon chain, the easier it is for the body to convert the fatty acids.

Does withinUs TruOrganic MCT™ contain artificial colours/flavours/sweeteners?
No. withinUs TruOrganic MCT™ does not contain any artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners.

How much can I take daily?
We recommend taking 1tbsp (7g) of withinUs TruOrganic MCT daily. Consuming more than 10g can result in mild digestive upset.

Is there a difference between MCT and coconut oil?
Coconut oil contains high levels of MCTs and other healthy fats. Although it contains medium chain triglycerides, coconut oil also contains long chain triglycerides that are not as effectively absorbed and utilized by the body. MCTs are a concentration of the medium chain triglycerides - the ones responsible for instant brain fuel and energy.

Why powder vs liquid?
We have chosen to offer certified organic MCT in powder form as it is easier on the digestive system and general results in less mess. It also does not leave the top layer of your beverage oily like an MCT oil (liquid) would.

Why should I take MCT if I’m not keto?
